Growing up in a South Carolina textile family, Stacy's artistic vision was influenced both by her southern upbringing and her world travels. Exposure to unique experiences--from bird-hunting in Argentina to camping in the Serengeti--developed Stacy's aesthetic and fueled her desire to found Hampden, to bring something different back home. For Stacy, fashion is all-encompassing: it's a lifestyle, not a job. After years of rising through the ranks of the Neiman Marcus buying program, Stacy gained the expertise, vision, and passion necessary to establish one of the country's top boutiques. When she's not searching the runway for the season's key looks, Stacy is in Hampden, watching her clients fall in love with the pieces she's discovered.
